Desmond Tan is in the business of Estate Management since 1993. As a junior executive, he started with a local estate management firm, Yumin Properties Pte Ltd as an executive before joining Jones Lang Wootton.
He was headhunted to join Colliers Jardine (S) Pte Ltd in 1995 and was promoted to the post of Property Manager by 1999. Subsequently, he joined his managing director to set up Knight Frank Estate Management Pte Ltd in 2000. He was promoted to the post of Associate Director in 2005.
He was instrumental in the growth of Knight Frank Estate Management Pte Ltd. He led a small team of 8 projects in 2005 to a project size of over 50 projects within 3 years. He was also instrumental in the setup of the start-up team for Knight Frank Estate Management Pte Ltd and spearheaded the bulk purchasing of electricity when the market was liberalized by Energy Market Authority.
He was subsequently approached to start the property management department for SunProp Property and Asset Management Consultants in late 2009. Sunprop has grown from strength to strength under his leadership and managed more than 70 projects and a staff strength of more than 80.
With the establishment of Smart Property, Desmond was appointed as its Managing Director and a member of the Board of Directors.
Danny Kim

Danny has been in the property market for more than 25 years of which he has held varied senior positions in Construction, Property and MCST Management. He began his career with HDB and has construction experience as a site engineer with the leading Main Contractor (Woh Hup) in Singapore.
He has held senior positions both with Developers as well as Managing Agents such as (HOD - Property Services) for Frasers Center Point Homes and Associate Director at CKH Pte Ltd (Now known as Savills Strata Management) Danny was also heading the Operations at Property Facility Services Pte Ltd for 10 years as Senior Director and subsequently head hunted to Asia Properties & Consultancy as Deputy Managing Director, before joining Smart Property as Deputy Managing Director. MCST Management has been his forte on the professional front and he is also involved in consultancy work with overseas projects managed by his previous companies.
Danny has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B. App Sc) in Construction Management and Economics from the Curtin University of Australia and is also a Certified ISO Auditor. Being a Member of The Association for Property and Facility Managers (APFM) with a Class 1 certified Property and Facility Manager (CPFM), he also sits on the Discipline Committee under the new accreditation for SISV – APFM AMA Scheme. He is also a Member of the FIABCI Singapore Chapter and is also an accredited Managing Agent under the new BCA Scheme.
He now assists the Managing Director to manage and lead the company in both operations as well as business development and is committed to the professional standard of Property and Facility Management with his new team of dedicated staff.

John Anil is an experienced facilities and property management professional with over 23 years of experience across various industries. He specializes in branding, marketing, innovative IT solutions, building management, procurement policies, setting operational standards, customer-centric beliefs and policies, and technical knowledge in M&E systems.
As a skilled manager, John runs business operations, manages staff and portfolios, and customizes training and coaching to keep employees up to date with the latest industry developments. His hands-on approach to staff management has earned him the respect and admiration of his team, ensuring that they are well-equipped to deliver high-quality services that exceed customer expectations.
With a strong background in corporate governance, John has held senior positions at renowned organizations, including SteadLink, Knight Frank, CSPS, Corporate Strategies International-CSI, Business Intelligence Group, and ICICI Bank. As Head of Strategic Planning in his previous role, he successfully led the department and drove strategic planning initiatives.
At Smart Property Management, John plays a vital role in overseeing daily operations and business units. He is committed to providing customer-centric services, leveraging his expertise in M&E systems and the Building Management and Strata Management Act (BMSMA) to ensure smooth and efficient operations. John also manages staff training and evaluation and develops and communicates company policies and procedures, setting the standard for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Eugene Tan

Eugene Tan

Eugene has been in the property and facilities management industry for over 25 years.
His experience covers condominium management, overseeing industrial properties, right up to facilities management of tertiary institutions, namely the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Yale-NUS College, where he was responsible not only for the setting up of the property management team but also the taking over of the residential colleges in University Town (U-Town) from the main contractor, handling defect management and rectification; and thereafter running the full facilities and M&E services.
Since his first stint with Newman & Goh back in 1995, Eugene has been with several larger property management firms and is well versed in the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA).
During his past employment in the property management industry, he has led management teams of sizeable developments such as Bayshore Park Condominium, Coco Palms Condominium, Orchid Park Condominium, Savannah Condopark, The Bayshore Condominium and the like. Eugene now heads a team of Property Managers and Executives in the Property Management Division.

Her expertise is highly sought after, and she currently leads a team of professionals as Associate Director & Head of the Business Unit. Mabel's experience extends beyond day-to-day property management operations. She has tackled complex projects, including re-roofing for large-scale, high-end sites. Mabel is also adept at navigating developer negotiations, utilising her experience to mediate disputes and ensure favourable outcomes through relevant authorities.
John Chew

John Chew served eleven years in the Singapore Armed Forces from National Service and left as a Captain. He joined the Sporting Goods Industry, was promoted through the ranks, and was appointed as the first local Managing Director for Nike Singapore Pte Ltd.
He started his building management carrier in 1999 with Newman & Goh Property Consultants Pte Ltd, he was awarded as the outstanding Condominium Manager in 2005, subsequently promoted to Manager at HQ overseeing multiple residential, industrial/commercial projects, and later as Senior Manager. He was the Deputy Director at Property Facility Services Pte Ltd from 2014 to 2016 and was promoted to Director. He joined Smart Property as a Director in October 2022.
John’s experience in building management spanning over two decades extends to managing new TOP projects, as well as assisting in successfully concluding several collective sales for residential and commercial estates.

Sager has approximately 20 years of work experience in real estate and facility management services.
Sager started his property management career in One Marina Properties Services (OMPS) where he worked as an executive running the day-to-day operations of a A-Class office building (One Marina Boulevard) where Members of Parliament conduct their day to day works. His performance was constantly meeting the high KPIs set. During his tenure in OMPS, he was tasked to oversee the Energy Audit for the building and is familiar with the Building Automation & Maintenance System (BAMS).
Prior to joining the MA industry, he was managing his company in providing cleaning, landscape and building maintenance for 13 years. This engaged Sager to be an operationally strong veteran in this field.
